Our story
Hello, my name is Samantha and I love flowers!
I grew up in rural Nebraska and developed a love for gardening and all things plants from a young age. After graduating from college, with a degree in horticulture, I moved to the Kansas City metropolitan area in 2007. I have worked in various landscaping jobs for the past 20 years and 2017 I started a small cut flower garden.
Falling in love with cut flowers, I wanted to bring them to as many people as possible and spread the feelings of joy that only flowers can bring. So in 2020, along with my husband, I started a Florecer Flower Farm, which means “to bloom”.
Grown with care
Your flowers are grown using the most ecologically and environmentally friendly growing methods as possible. That means no harsh, synthetic, herbicides or pesticides. In fact, there are no pesticides, not even organic, on your flowers at all. You deserve to know what you are bringing into your home and every insect is important and is food for something else!
All of your flowers have been grown right here in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. Which means, there are no extra carbon emissions associated with your flowers being shipped across the world and you are supporting your local economy!
You do not have to buy flowers from us but, buy local.
